I thought it might be a good idea to gradually build a page with links to the software that I’ve found most useful in my time as a Mac owner. Note that I have Intel powered Macs, so some of these might be aimed particularly at Intel Macs (Parallels Desktop being Intel only for example) :-

XNJB : for those who like to "think different" and have Creative Labs Zen MP3 players.

SyncupX : for backing up my files (though I do use Time Machine under Leopard).

Ecto : for posting to this blog.

Adium : Instant messaging.

Cyberduck : FTP client.

Flip4Mac : For watching Windows Media Player content.

OmniDiskSweeper : for finding where the space hogs are.

NeoOffice: for word processing etc.

Parallels Desktop : for running a few Windows based applications and messing around with other operating systems.

SharePoints : for sharing folders on my network.

VueScan : for using my scanner.

TinkerTool : for fiddling with various OS X settings.

OnyX : also for fiddling with various OS X settings.

MenuMeters : very handy system status tool.

XGestures : for mouse gestures throughout OS X.
