Project 365 – Day Two Hundred and Sixty Seven – Bow

day 267

My last day at work before Christmas, and with the aid of some strategic use of Annual Leave, I won’t have to go back until January 4th. I had a glass of wine this evening to help me slip into a more relaxed state of mind, and glancing over at the Christmas tree thought I’d shoot this.

Taken at f2, so not much of this is in focus at all. I also used one the Lightroom cross-processing presets to adjust the colour.

Here’s hoping I can get out somewhere with my camera a bit more over the next few days. I’m feeling very pressured in trying to find things around the house to take photos of now after weeks of dark evenings.

Canon 7D, EF 35mm f2, 1/60 at f2, ISO 800.

    • Thank you :^) If I’d been feeling a bit better I would have “worked” this shot a bit more, it looks lazy and it was. I only took two shots and just decided “that will do”. I think if I was shooting again now I would get that bow down in one corner of the frame – but hey :^)
