Project 365 – Day Three Hundred and Eight – Mystery of the Missing Mini Eggs

day 308

I’ve finally got to the bottom of why my Mini Eggs always vanish so quickly. Little Monkey!

The lighting is horrible in this, as is the abrupt black background. I have so little space to work in that it makes things like backgrounds and light stands tricky.

    • Thanks Kim :^) I think the idea was a sound enough one, and yes, I think I got the DoF about right, although maybe those eggs near the front are a little too blurry. I just need to make sure I leave myself enough time to set up proper lighting and backgrounds for shots like this. And I need to clear some SPACE in this cluttered house :^)

Thanks for dropping by, and seeing the word “photography” in your ID then I’m sure I’ll be over for a look shortly :^)

    • Ah, no… Monkey is *my* toy :^) I bought him a few weeks ago and the idea is that he will live in my camera bag (he is small and light) and travel everywhere I go with my camera. Then, when the opportunity arises he’ll leap out of the bag and I’ll take photos of him at famous landmarks, or in humorous situations – that kind of thing.

Guess that makes me a big kid… :^)

    • Thanks again Mark. I just have to make sure that Monkey doesn’t discover that I’m a Yorkshire Tea person. The only reason I would buy P.G. Tips would be to give a good home to one of his brothers or sisters ;^)
