I had been wanting to have a go at shooting one of these for quite a while, but Michelle had got her old plastic one hopelessly tangled up ages ago. Finally we have a replacement Slinky so I set about trying to find interesting angles (actually it’s a “Spring Spring” – “the springy retro toy”, but I can’t see any difference other than maybe the price).
Having tried shooting at various different angles and with varying depths of field, this was the one I liked best. I really like the interaction of the criss-crossing metal hoops, particularly towards the top right.
Now, roll on the weekend and some day light to get out and shoot some photos in!
